Zeynep Cetiner Nguyen

Born in Tarsus, Turkey, in 1998, and raised in France, Zeynep is a ceramic artist whose multicultural background deeply informs her practice. In 2022, she founded her ceramic studio in Saigon, where she has developed a body of work exploring mythology, memory, and the emotional life of objects.

Through hand-built vessels and sculptural forms, she creates works that feel both ancient and contemporary, as though unearthed from another time. Drawing inspiration from cultural narratives, feminine symbolism, and the expressive qualities of clay, she transforms the material into objects that evoke presence, intimacy, and storytelling.

Now based in Vietnam, Zeynep continues to develop a distinctive ceramic language that bridges her Turkish heritage, French upbringing, and contemporary artistic practice. Her work invites viewers to slow down, connect with materiality, and discover the quiet narratives embedded within each piece.
